The beginning of this book was a California-rized retelling of the Titanic from Rose’s POV being engaged to Cal. “Poor little rich girl. What does she know about misery?” is the vibe it gives off.

Once Lucas entered the chat, however, I was pulled in. Athletic ginger veterinarian with piercing ice blue eyes? YES, please. Their friendship first relationship had a lot of chemistry and I enjoyed the way they were both what the other wanted AND needed after their previous relationships.

I will say, the title is a bit misleading. There is no tying up… at all. Not saying I needed the book to have that, but it seems like false advertisement, no?
