Miss Subways by David Duchovny

3.0

Writing a review for this book is tough. The premise of this book and Emer’s character are great. The rest, not so much. The writing was pretentious and a bit all over the place. It wasn’t really a cohesive story. It honestly felt a bit like a manic hallucination.

The best part of this book was Emer. She was relatable, she was older (which you don’t see much in books like this), and she was written well having being written by a dude.

David Duchovny is a great actor, and I will probably try to read his other stuff as well, but this was just meh.

He can still get it though.
