This was really wack, if I'm being honest. I know Jonathan is meant to be a weird kid, and I mean with everything he's got going on, I get it, but he feels somewhat like a caricature of a troubled gay teen of the 70s. Also every single reference to the actual time period felt fake, like if you were on the set of a TV show. Also the love interest felt like a Native caricature. It's whatever! I will never be forced to reread this and I am very grateful.
