The Peripheral by William Gibson
3.5
adventurous dark funny mysterious medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

This was a weird read, not at all what I expected from the dean of science fiction. It was certainly original. It veers into fantasy, which I didn't expect. The plot developments are fascinating, and it is true that the reader discovers more signs about the subsystems as s/he reads.
