This was a bit of a miss for me. I always enjoy Shari Ryan’s books/ writing and I liked the concept of the story, the grown up Milk Man but I just couldn’t connect fully with Wesley. I enjoyed his POV but then some things he did (or didn’t do but should have) in Madelyn POV just didn’t fit with his character for me at times. I like a hero with a little bit more drive too. He should have gone after his dream sooner. So I guess my favorite part of this book was the last 5-10% or so. But like I said I liked many of Shari Ryan’s stories and I will continue to read more form her.
