Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

“He tried again to remember what he’d thought the first time he saw her. He tried to remember how this had happened. How she went from someone he had never met to the only one that mattered.”

“Before she could help herself, her heart was breaking for him. Like it didn’t have anything better to break over. Maybe it didn’t.”

Musical. Silly. Stupid. And a quite terrible ending. The perfect book to casually move through and jump start a reading funk if you’re in one because there’s got to be better than this out there. Or I suppose it could sink you further into a funk. Read at your own peril.
