Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy

4.5

Honestly, after reading this book, I had to take a break from reading. I had so many feelings about this book, and wanted to enjoy them for as long as I could before starting something new.

My only qualm with this book (and it's a pretty big qualm) is the full reveal of Franny's backstory and the secrets that have been teased along the way. Throughout the story we get flashbacks from Franny that hint at something dark in her past.
We even see her have sleepwalking episodes that end with her hands around someone's neck, which led me to believe that her crime was either intentional or sleepwalking induced. For me, the blame she took for an accidental car accident didn't match the build-up at all
.
