This was gorgeous and heart-shattering. It goes to some incredibly dark places, but none without a sliver of hope. The writing surprised me, showing off the light that burns in these women while they develop their understandings of love & fear. The beauty and the must-finish-ness of it made it well worth the read, despite the ending, which I found a bit too well-constructed.
