This is a story that counts for its characters and their growth and struggles and not exactly for the plot or action. That doesn't mean it's bad, just that it left me wanting more.
Still, I really liked it! I loved the evolution of Margaret and Weston, both individually and in their relationship, and everything seemed very organic and credible.
The writing is very beautiful and engaging but I found certain parts of the book confusing, with some concepts thrown onto the page with little or no explanation. Also the temporal/historical context is not very clear (for me this clarity is important to be able to visualize the story in my mind...) and there are some "plot holes" that to me show some lack of interest in the plot so that the focus is essentially Margaret and Weston's relationship.
