torn on how i feel about this one. totally get how it is supposed to be a deep reflection on friendship and their effect on your entire life blah blah. but i totally wish the book was just the story of ted and his friends lives and not told through this bizarre adventure with louisa (who is so painfully irritating as a FMC). also maybe i’m just insensitive but ted is in his 40s still dreaming about his 15 year old summer…we hear almost nothing else about his friends and their adventures/lives outside this one summer. idk…it was more of a sad/deep book than i was looking for so maybe that’s why i have a negative outlook on it lol. it also dragged on for so long. so little happened in so many chapters.
