Invincible Iron Man: Ironheart Vol. 2: Choices by Brian Michael Bendis

3.0

As a character, Riri Williams has a lot of potential. She's 15, a genius, and has a heart as big as her intellect.

However something about this just didn't connect with me. While I loved the vibrancy of the colours in the volume, I didn't really care for the art in general. Riri seemed older than 15 in the art and her Ironheart constume doesn't have the same age appropriate pizzazz of her contemporaries. The story and writing felt rushed and flat as well. That's a problem I seem to have with a lot of Brian Michael Bendis' work though so I'm not sure why I don't expect it to by now.
