This was so beautiful and heart-wrenching. The characters were so rich and layered, and I fell in love with them, flaws and all. Although the story was tragic in many ways, there was also the sense that it couldn’t have happened any way, so I didn’t find it frustrating. It was still sad, but with a decent amount of hope, and that felt like enough. The way it examines love and relationships between sisters is profound, and I especially adored how Charlie remained a consistent character throughout.
