Kerrie is not happy with her life, she got a stale relationship and now jobless she wants a change and when she hear Jordana’s voice on tv a plan forms.
Jordana grew up in a bad house hold and was desperate to break free of her fathers grip so she does something that sets Kerrie’s life and future completely off the course imagined. Kerrie blames Jordana for everything that has happened to her because in her mind it all started with the incident Jordana was responsible for.
The writing of this was good and I really enjoyed the split perspectives, I would say this is more of a light mystery more contemporary. I was expecting a Physiological thriller but it wasn’t, regardless I did enjoy this. Kerries applies for an assistant job to get close to Jordana to ruin her life like she did to her. An eye for an eye.
The build up was good, met Daniel who we like and root for and who Kerrie get besotted by. There a few side characters you kind of mull over but there was nothing really there to give them some of the spot light. Apart from Sarah who was a fun edition and who was there to actually help the plot.
All in all I liked how the story unfolds and how it was told, I just wish that the reveal was more dramatic and it felt weird that everything tied up in to a neat little bow. I fell like after everything that happened there would still be a lot of things up in the air.
