I loved it. The whimsical dreamy quality of this series will never cease to amaze me. I was confused for the first 1/3 of the book because I felt like I was missing something or like there was a book I should have read but I didn't. I didn't miss anything this book just takes place after a battle that we haven't seen before (it is described later in this book). I did enjoy the characters become the fabled individuals that they did but I would have liked a little more explanation about how. I liked the simplicity of the ending - the classic words that now have their own kind of magic.
