"My friend, the Wild."

I will proudly say that this is, my favorite book.

Where the Crawdads Sing talks about so many things in such beautiful writing. At first, I gotta admit that it was a bit hard for me to get into -especially because of the writing style and the dialogue. But oh my God I was left speechless while sobbing so hard after finishing this book. God help my weak and broken heart, this is the book that I cried to the most.

This will forever hold a special place in my heart for being such a heart-breaking yet heart-warming story. Delia Owens writes such a stunning story about coming-of-age, love, connection, family, sense of belonging, and a place you call home. My review won't do this book justice cause I'm just speechless with how amazing the story was.

The characters are so loveable except 2 people (iykyk) and Owens created such interesting characters that are just, authentic. This book is plot-driven and what's fascinating to me is how those characters are placed in the story! I love the small-town vibes because everyone knows everyone and the connection the MC has with the side characters are so well-created!

This book is truly too stunning to be put into words; you simply have to read it <3
