One of Us Is Lying
by Karen M. McManus
If you're from the south, don't listen to the audiobook. The accents....Idk what they're supposed to be besides outrageously terrible.
I was disappointed in forced love stories and that the "mystery" was revealed at the beginning of chapter 14, but the book went on for 17 more chapters and an epilogue. WTF. WHY.
Much of it was highly readable, though. It's just that the author paid less attention to plot than dumbass love stories no one cares about. I did enjoy the relationship between the sisters, though. And I think a lot of girls can relate to the complexities of a relationship with an incredibly shallow mom and their negative self-images.
