This is a hard book to rate. It certainly isn't bad but I didn't enjoy reading it. I don't like books with a focus on vibes and confusion which is the whole book here. I would have marked it DNF if it wasn't a book club read.

The prose is beautiful here. What plot exists though is fairly confusing. I only semi-understood and enjoyed the last 25%. Good book for some but not me.
