I kept my expectations low going into this fourth book of the DC Stars series because the third book was a DNF for me, but holy heck this one really surprised me. I just loved Lexi and Riley's story, their love was organic and realistic and so damn sweet.
It's the kinda quiet love that hits you when you least expect it and just knocks you right over. The heartache and trauma and the complexities surrounding Riley's accident and rehabilitation were written and handled so well and really made the story what it is. It was realistic and relatable, sweet and funny and had the perfect amount of spice and the ending was so very satisfying! I enjoyed every moment.
