An Elemental Thing by Eliot Weinberger

5.0

Renews one's sense of the extreme richness of global culture and the connections yet to be made/patterns yet to be perceived —everything will be the same, just a little different. Daydreams, séances, Borgesian escapades, silver-toned tirades. Intentions as elusive as Anne Carson's but the writing and connection between images is more coherent emotionally at the very least.
