An interesting point of view: a story of a family that moved from Vojvodina in Yugoslavia to Switzerland, the way the two girls of the family struggle between the different identities: the old Yugoslavian identity left back home (but is it a home anymore?), the hard-working immigrant identity of their parents and whatever it is the girls come up with themselves. Writing style is a lighter version of Saramago, flowing quite nicely, and the story is something I've never read before.
