This is a solid series that I feel like a lot of people are sleeping on!
I enjoyed this one but it didn't feel as strong as the second book. I took a little longer reading it because at the 50%ish mark, all the main characters were back together and happy and I didn't want to ruin that for them hah.
The final battle was brutal and the losses weren't as bad as I was expecting. I felt like there was too much modern language in this series but I was willing to overlook it because the story was still solid. The mental health representation was also well done.
I will want to reread this series some day now that it's complete and I know I forgot some things. I highly recommend it!
