All Boys Aren't Blue

This incredible memoir follows the childhood and young adult-hood of a queer Black boy in his own words. It explores the importance of family, both the one you are born into and the one you make through the connections you form, of self-expression and of supporting and loving Black and queer kids and especially those who are both. It is a painful look at the real harms done to Black and queer kids in our society and a story of hope for young Black and queer kids to tell them they are not alone and they can have a future filled with Black and queer joy.
