Dead Man's Folly by Agatha Christie

4.0

As I was reading this one, I kept thinking to myself that the story was so familiar and wondering if I had read this one before. Turns out, I'd seen the David Suchet TV adaptation which is why I knew whodunnit before the reveal...which was fun and VERY unusual for me in a Christie novel. I usually never figure out who the murderer is until either at or right before it is revealed.

I really enjoyed this Poirot set at a village fete. The action moves along at a good clip and the twist in this one is really, really good. The Queen has done it again.
