I listened to a BBC dramatisation of The Birds this evening and I loved it! In just one hour, I became so invested in the story. It was tense, dramatic and subtly terrifying. When it concluded my reaction was "wait, I've already finished? It's already been a whole hour!?" I love Daphné du Maurier (she's one of my favourite writers actually) and am always excited to read more of her works! (good thing she was prolific...). Now I just need to watch the Hitchcock film...
