I enjoyed this story, but didn't feel the need to read the rest of the series. I didn't like Jonah's controlling traits (putting her in the smaller plane to punish her for being a "city girl", stealing her luggage and lying by omission, hiding her makeup and hair products because he felt she "looked better without all that crap on her face"), although I felt he had some other redeeming qualities and they balanced each other well throughout Calla's loss of her father and as they got together. I thought the pet raccoons was a funny addition for some levity, and I appreciated how Calla got back at Jonah by shaving his face. I liked the resolution in the first book, that Calla and Jonah's story was different from her parents', and felt the story ended well there.
