I had no idea that there were actual blue people at some point in human history.
This book was interesting on multiple levels, as it touched on many problematic parts of our society such as; racism, illiteracy, sexual assault etc. Even though the book refers to another century, some of those parts have seeped into modern societies, making it timeless on some levels.
I really liked the FMC in this one, there was a great build-up to her character.
I feel that this could be a great book for book clubs as it brings many topics for discussion.
