Rules of Seduction by Joya Ryan

5.0

Holy wow- this was the hottest book I have ever read. **fans self** I haven’t read any of the other books in the Serve series, but if they are anything like this one from Joya Ryan, I’ll definitely be picking them up.

The book explores larger themes of seduction and fantasy in a really intriguing setting. The Serve nightclub is a sexy backdrop for a really racy book, and I absolutely loved Ava and Nolan. Ava is an easily likable heroine who, despite being scorned by a past love affair and feeling very edgy about love in general, knows exactly what she wants and has no qualms about going to great lengths to get it. When she walks into Nolan’s office at the beginning of the book, you know you’re getting a strong willed heroine that you can root for.

As for Nolan, I loved how in control and self-assured he was, but I also loved that goofy side to him that makes jokes and flirts shamelessly with Ava outside of the Serve setting. He can talk dirty with the best of alpha male heroes, but in this book he is so much more than that. He’s sweet and tender with Ava in their private time together, making those steamy scenes in Serve so much more worthwhile.

Rules of Seduction is explicit and sexy, but it’s also sweet. It is everything readers have come to love about Entangled Publishing’s sexy and exciting Brazen line. Romance fans will devour this book.
