A Little Too Far
by Lisa Desrochers
A girl torn between her step-brother and a priest, what could be better?? I couldn't put it down once I started and finished it in one afternoon. I always swear off love triangles, then just can't help myself! Both Trent and Al were likable, but I did prefer one over the other. I was happy beyond happy that she chose my guy (for once). I wanted to see more of Trent and Lexie together. I felt their love story was secondary to Lexie/Al and her trip to Italy. However, the backdrop of Italy was breathtaking!
This book was amazing and was a 5 STAR for me until the last 15%. The ending felt a little rushed and moved much faster than the rest of the book. I also would have liked a few chapters from Al or Trent's POV to experience their thoughts/ emotions. Despite that, I still enjoyed the book immensely and can NOT wait for book #2 of the series.
All I know is, if there's one person in this world that I was meant to meet and fall in love with, it's you. You are my soul mate. You always have been.
It's not my fault I'm a Michelangelo groupie.
