And There Was Light: Abraham Lincoln and the American Struggle by Jon Meacham
3.0
This was my first physical book read for the challenge and I just couldn't finish it in January. It was interesting, but not enough to designate time to sit and read it. I waited for the audio to come off hold in Libby. Starting from the beginning, I finished the book in a few days. It became mostly background noise. Listening while driving would cause my mind to wander to different things and I would have to intentionally listen. It was a good look at Abe Lincoln's life. It looked at him as a flawed person trying to do the best he can in a terrible situation rather than heroize him like we tend to do in American history.
