Not sure how to feel - I thought some parts were so beautifully and vividly written, other parts felt like being hit over the head with a hammer with the bluntness of the writing - sometimes it’s better to let the reader work things out. I thought the end almost ruined it -
Paul was already evil enough and Frances should have realised that and run without the big reveal of his secret past
