King of Thieves by Saxon James
4.0
book 3 of 2023
As chad would say “this was frat as f*ck” lol
I’ve been wanting to read this series by Saxon James ever since I read another book series they have with another author (I’m bad at remembering names pls forgive me)
I enjoyed getting to see all the pranks these guys pulled on each other and I was soooooo glad that it was all fun and games and had NO HAZING.
I also really liked the dedication. It made me laugh out loud and smile. Good for the chads.
Listen, chad was a total simp for Bailey but not in an annoying way. He was automatically intrigued and infatuated by him when they first met. Obviously being from “rival” frat houses Bailey wasn’t on board with getting down and dirty with chad until eventually that all changed ;)
Watching their relationship progress was a long ride. They sexual tension and mutual want was there but they tried so hard to deny it which never works lol These two individuals were a good match for each other. They were polar opposites in personality and how they grew up but in a way helped them better understand each other. Bailey and chad each brought something to the relationship that made it work. They were sweet and spicy. I loved getting to see their intimate moments when getting to know each other and their chemistry was amazing.
Of course there was the drama that stirred up the plot towards the end when it came to the rival frat houses and Bailey and chads relationship. All in all I thought it was executed fairly well and enjoyed how everything was handled in the end.
Getting to briefly see what chad and Bailey’s lives were like in the future was cute and wrapped up the book very well. I enjoyed their story and what it took to get this far.
