I sobbed messy tears. I laughed. I shared passages with my best friend. It really was a mix bag, just like life. I didn't expect the grief to hit so hard. It was beautiful.
The world casually being a wreck was a very real glance into our future. I hope we have our own Hannah to at least make sure we're comfortable in it. Seeing a cast of older adults being full real people was a joy, and something I've rarely seen, especially queer elders.
I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone, but I think those who have experienced loss will get the most out of it.
