All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood

5.0

"She is just as real as I am."

I gave it a 5/5. It has been so long since I've been enthralled by a book. In all honesty, I only read it because it was suggested by Tarryn Fisher as per said by a PLN. I was curious and the title really gets to you.

The story is out of the normal. It is raw and real. It is disturbing and sad. It is honest and heart-warming. Wavy and Kellen made my heart hurt so bad. Their love goes to show that anyone can surpass everything, even all the ugly shit in the world. I may have cringed a few times because it was pedo-ish but with Wavy and Kellen, it did not even matter much to me. I love how it was written, with all main and semi characters' alternating povs. I wanted to slap the shit out of Wavy's aunt so many times. The road to get Wavy and Kellen back together was frustrating, hard and heartbreaking. I was screaming like, "JUST LET THEM BE TOGETHER YOU ALL PIECE OF GODDAMN SHT YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING!!"
I mostly love the scene with Wavy and the court judge. I was weeping by that point.

This is not normally something that I would suggest for someone to read because of it's sensitive and explicit theme. It's dark and disturbing. But if you need something unforgettable that would tug at your heartstrings, widen your horizons and open your mind, I will definitely tell you to mother effin' read this! Every people have different opinions and taste, I'd be honest that not everyone would agree and love this as much as I do but it is worth a try.

This story is forever engraved in my heart. I've never seen *or should I say read* a love so strong such as portrayed in this story. Okay, I may have but I've forgotten them at this point.
