(4.5) This is definitely my favorite Matt Haig novel so far. It's funny and clever and also well executed, more so than his later novels, and it's got depth and heart and it really makes us think about being human. The relationships in the story are painful and beautiful and nothing seemed overdone to me.
I loved the commentary on dogs, meat/carnivores, and the news. I ignored/hated the titled chapters.
