Lily Mayne is - as always - the perfect writer. If you told me the premise of this book, I would think it sounded ridiculous. And it is ridiculous, but in the very best way.

I loved her choice to make it from Taylor's POV and have him experience this weird hidden world. I genuinely loved the idea that the romance, though they fall in love fast, the love is built on the basis of being super honest with each other. It feels real, unforced and natural rather than a formula instalove.

The different kind of creatures in this book are all so creative. From moth people, vampires and fae to lizard grannies. I love all their personalities, including the irritating ones *cough*Larkin*cough*.

This is the kind of book where I just want to spend time with the characters, no matter what they are doing. I am so glad there are more planned as I want to get to know all the wrestlers better.

Lily Mayne has the amazing skill of balancing humour with realistic situations. Taylor's nervous fear and despondent feelings about his life aren't less impactful just because the book is very comedic.

It is the perfect balance of heartfelt, funny, romantic, cute and relatable.
