About My Mother: True Stories of a Horse-Crazy Daughter and Her Baseball-Obsessed Mother by Peggy Rowe

5.0

My introduction to Peggy Rowe’s humor was by way of her audiobook, narrated on her son’s podcast. And reading this, I can hear her voice and the laughing was no less likely to make me hope I wasn’t going to pee myself. Rowe has a way of capturing humanity and weaving the highlights into the stories she tells, and it’s masterwork. Truly a delightful read.
