Stuart Little by E.B. White

What I learned from Stuart Little:
I may not be tall enough to be noticed, but I’m tall enough to want to go to 72nd Street. I’m big enough for my dreams and no one’s perception of me will change that.
I don’t have to wait for someone to take me on an adventure, I can take my own right now.
The important things are shafts of sunlight, a note of music, the way the back of a baby’s neck smells of its mother keeps it tidy, and ice cream with chocolate sauce on it. Also sitting in the sunlight in nice towns, people’s goodness and willingness to help you where you’re at, being nice, and northerly directions when the road is long and the sky is blue.
Things don’t have to be just perfect. We can make it up as we go along.
Be helpful and ready wherever you are, but make your own place as you like it too. Even if you’re shy, find and follow what you love relentlessly.
