I absolutely loved Brother by Ania Ahlborn. It was one of the darkest and most disturbing books I have read this year and I could not put it down. The atmosphere was intense and chilling from start to finish. I felt a deep sense of sympathy for Michael throughout the story. His character was so well written that I found myself completely drawn into his world and his inner conflict. On the other hand, there was a character who I truly despised. He brought such a menacing and evil presence to the story that it made my skin crawl. The tension between the characters and the twisted family dynamics kept me on edge the entire time. This book would translate so well into a horror movie and I would be first in line to watch it. If you enjoy horror that lingers with you long after the final page, this is a must read.
