First half of the book has really cringy writing, and Violet isn’t the most intelligent character imo but the story started to feel more fun and engrossing (when the author’s use of phrases like “for the win” isn’t completely taking you out of it). I also wasn’t expecting some of the plot twists, I think I audibly gasped a few times. Very fun read, even with all the eye-rolling I gave it. x) Would definitely recommend a read if you like adventurous, fast paced books but beware the terrible writing.
