Abriella's journey is not over in Faerie. She has woken from the Potion of Life Sebastion had given her and quickly realizes his deceit. Now Fae, Abriella uses her stronger shadow powers to escape the Seelie court.

This book never slows down. There is one adventure after another as Abriella is navigating becoming Fae and the relationships she has made after coming to Faerie. Ryan focuses more on the characters for this sequel and lets the reader see inside the personalities that keep us connected to the story. I fell in love with the cast. I enjoyed the foreshadowing, but I was still left surprised at the end of this epic fantasy!

Unfortunately, I had some trouble dismissing the repetition of information, similar to These Hollow Vows. However, it was not as prevalent as in the first book. 

Overall, this book is highly recommended to my fellow Romantic Fantasy readers. I was heartbroken and put back together multiple times, the best kind of torture!
