The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

5.0

Im keeping this short and simple, because I don’t want to cry again. The sun is also a star, one of the greatest books I’ve ever read is the first book to ever make me actually cry, I’ve read sad books before but I’ve never cried. Until I read the last page of this book. I absolutely love this book, the way it is written makes the story so so so lovely!! The switch between characters and all the extra stuff added in is everything to me, it’s the second book I’ve read with this kind of style (the other just switched between the two main characters but this is AMAZING) and i absolutely loved it. The story is an emotional roller coaster going through
Natasha’s struggles with deportation then thinking she would get to stay, but it getting ruined because of the paralegals affair with his secretary. Daniel and hers relationship was so gorgeous and heart breaking in the end but I choose to believe when they meet up at the ending on the plane that they live happily ever after. they get married and she gets to stay in the us. That’s my ending that I just wrote.
