Ahh. She’s half lost me. I still love Anne, but I’m not quite able to relate to this child-bearing adult. I also feel like Montgomery may have gotten more religious as she aged and this work shows it. No longer does Anne use the term “kindred spirit” but instead it’s replaced with “the race that knows Joseph” and that just hurt my heart a little too much.
