I was so excited to read this book. With a MMC in a loyal gang/motorcycle gang and a blind FMC who wants to get out of her trouble family.

Never did I expected that the story would take a turn. Should have not raised my expectations up.

I liked Lenani at first. She is an avid reader as I:
That's when my love for romance novels started. BDSM enemies to lovers, cowboys, second chance, small-town romance, you name it, I listened. […] The characters in the stories are like old friends, and in a way, they give me hope that one day I too will experience a love like the words spoken in my ear every day. They give me a yearning to one day be free of this prison I call home.
, but then she does some basic annoying stuff; like calling her uncle(enemy) to ‘confirm’ that he was the one who sent men to attack Austin and his fam. I rolled my eyes… completed 360.
Austin and Lenani meet when Austin’s come to rescue his sister in a kidnapping/sex trafficking scene.

"This is the last time I'm going to repeat myself. You are not a burden. A good man would never think takin' care of his woman as a burden. A man takes care of his woman because he wants to because it gives him purpose. […] Worrying comes with the territory of loving one of these
men. That part never goes away. Remember, it's a two-way street, though. Those men love their women fiercely and will go to the ends of the earth to keep them safe. I have no doubt Austin will do the same for you."

Austin is bland. He is hawt and possessive of Lenani. The moment he set his eyes on her, he was entranced. Entranced while she was a victim of trafficking and also traumatized…
This guy didn’t seek her out. It’s legit: they meet; “she is mine”; have my babies; mine.
"I'm thinking I love you and how happy I am.”
"Baby," he breathes. "I don't know what I did in a past life to deserve a fuckin' angel like you, but I promise to God, I'll spend the rest of my life makin' sure you don't regret sayin' those three words to me 'cause I love you too."

While I sometimes like instalove, in this case, it ruins it all.
He has almost no personality.
