The middle of nowhere
I saw this book on tiktok and it intrigued me. I'm not normally a para romance reader, but this story drew me in. I would say it's a slow burn, as it takes its time to revel the reasons we all know why the town keeps Ariana there. Why Colburn keeps disappearing at night. But saying that it had a different take on an alpha wolf shifter. Colburn always came across as kind and caring, putting Ariana's needs above all others. The reason for this clearly was to lull her to accept her date in the town, but can she get over the shock and his betrayal? I really enjoyed the book and would consider reading more in the series.
