Started great, however the twist on page 130 in part 2 of the book took some getting used to and the ending was kind of rushed compared to the rest of the book. 

Loved the twist with the Dark One/Nero, and the insight we got from sharing his memories. Wish we got more info about the needle and it’s origin, and maybe a better explanation of magic considering it had such a big role in the book. We also didn’t see or hear about Matt and Esther for most of part 3, which i think is kind of weird considering they were some of her only friends (and ex fiance) for most of Sloanes life, but this is not something I am very upset about but just wanted to note it.
