**I did receive this book as a digital ARC from the author** If you’re looking for a fantasy book with basic plot/world building, a morally grey MMC and smut then this is a great book for you. If you’re looking for a life changing book that is well fleshed out and full of intriguing characters then this is not the book for you. I enjoyed this book simply because it never pretended to be something it wasn’t. It was a short, fun time set in a fantasy world and it didn’t take itself too seriously. This isn’t typically the type of book I read but it was still a fun afternoon.
