Earthlings by Sayaka Murata

Definitely not an enjoyable read. Murata doesn’t shy away from heavier themes. Her writing is, like in her first novel, simple yet beautiful and vivid. If you’re thinking about picking up one of her books and (like me) don’t like reading about some specific themes (I added the tw down below) I‘d definitely advise you to read convince store woman rather than this book as they deal with similar subjects. However, csw is much easier to digest.
