For my first book from this author, I was pleasantly impressed and actually really enjoyed this book! This skewed more toward literary with horror elements than a straight horror, so keep that in mind when you pick it up. 

Honestly I wasn’t expecting to care so much about these characters and even rooted so hard for the lil romance in here! I appreciated the complex familial relationship and commentary on past trauma, transformation & healing. 

I can’t wait to read more from Harrison!
