Really interesting book. I started it and bounced off it, then picked it up again a year later and finished it in a few days - I think I needed to be in a hot, sweaty, lush place for it to land.
Super gross, intense book about a pre-teen homoerotic obsession with your best friend. Was feeling actively repulsed at parts, and then feeling dazzled by the beautiful descriptions and intensity of feeling at others.
