I really enjoyed the characters of Wyatt and Sally and reading their story. They have been friends since childhood and are each other's confidants. Both of these MCs had to prove that they were adults and were often underestimated by those around them. They both wore the masks that they felt their family needed. Wyatt does not show how affected he was by the death of his parents and Sally by doing a career that is what her father wanted her to do.
I did like the playfulness of this book. Since Wyatt and Sally have been friends for so long they were able to just relax and joke with each other. I also liked that you get to see more of how the brothers interact in this book. How they joked and were super close. Family is a huge theme in this book.
